Student Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the structure and function of human services organizations
  • Use a variety of computer programs necessary in human services organizations
  • Demonstrate competency in two concentration areas
  • Engage in a service-learning project in the community
  • Understand characteristics of people from a diverse range of backgrounds and varying demographics
  • Understand methods, analyses, and interpretation for human services’ research
  • Think critically using a clinical lens when working with clients
  • Analyze their own values, predicting how these values will affect their academic and professional experiences
  • Apply professional ethics and standards in human service settings
